The accepted Zypan record lists betaine hydrochloride, pepsin, pancreatin and animal tissue ingredients. Its acid-related caution matters when discussing suitability, including use of acid-reducing medication, with a practitioner.
Multizyme lists a 464 milligram blend with pancreatin, bromelain, papain, amylase, cellulase and lipase, plus date, almond and pineapple ingredients. A total blend weight does not disclose the activity or amount of each enzyme.
Zypan’s recorded directions specify two tablets with each meal, swallowed whole. Multizyme specifies one capsule with each meal. A tablet-to-capsule count is not a dose-equivalence rule.
Multizyme contains almond, animal-derived pancreatin and gelatin. Zypan also contains animal-derived ingredients. Read both complete labels; do not infer vegetarian suitability or medication compatibility from the digestive-support category.
